The Pride Pantry
The Pride Pantry
The Pride Pantry is a community based resource created to support LGBTQIA2S+ individuals in Henderson County by providing free access to affirming items and essential hygiene products. We believe that everyone deserves dignity, respect and the ability to care for themselves fully - without barriers or judgement.
Through the pride pantry, community members can request items such clothing, tucking undergarments, binders, hygiene products and menstrual products. To honor the privacy and ensure accessibility, the program entirely operates online, allowing individuals to access support safely and anonymously.
The Pride Pantry is rooted in the values of inclusion, care and community solidarity. We recognize that many in our community, including trans and nonbinary folx, youth, BIPOC, people with disabilities and those experiencing housing instability often face barriers to affirming supplies. The Pride Pantry exists to break down those barriers and affirm that every person is worthy of self expression, self care and pride in who they are.
We understand that some community members do not have direct access to a computer or phone, please give us a call and we will accommodate your request if eligible.

Please note that not all applicants will be recipients. We are prioritizing individuals in our community that experience intersectionality and have less access to goods. Program operations are dependent on funding availability.
Please note that the demographics that we are collecting will be private and we collect information to assess the needs of our community.
